Lutein is an orange-yellow carotenoid pigment produced by plants. The lutein in Altisa Lutein 20 mg Forte is naturally extracted from high-quality Tagetes erecta L.The human body cannot produce lutein, so it must be ingested through food or a nutritional supplement. Lutein supports eye health. Vitamin A, vitamin B2, and zinc have also been added to maintain normal vision.
Composition of Altisa Lutein 20 mg Forte:
Each vegetarian capsule (= daily dose) contains:Lutein (trans-lutein esters) (derived from Tagetes erecta L., extract 200 mg) 40 mg
equivalent to free lutein 20 mg
Dunaliella salina extract (10:1) 20 mg
corresponds to:
- Beta-carotene 2 mg or vitamin A retinol (41%) 333 mcg
Vitamine B2 (riboflavine) 4,5 mg
Zinc (bisglycinate) 15 mg

Tagetes erecta L.; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule; zinc bisglycinate; dunaliella salina; lubricant: magnesium stearate; riboflavin (vitamin B2).This product is free from: Artificial colours, preservatives and flavours, sugar, salt, starch, yeast, corn, milk (derivatives), talc, animal derivatives, gluten, lactose, shellfish, eggs, fish, soy, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, lupine and molluscs.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
