L-Arginine (HCl) is a monohydrochloride salt form of L-Arginine and has a neutral pH, making it non-bitter. It is a basic amino acid. L-Arginine is a complex and semi-essential amino acid found in proteins. Semi-essential means that under certain conditions the body can no longer produce it in sufficient quantities. L-Arginine is synthesized from glutamine, glutamic acid, and proline.Around 1990, it was discovered that L-arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide (NO), an important biochemical in the body. L-arginine is also called (2S)-2-amino-5-(diaminomethylideneamino)pentanoic acid.

L-Arginine HCl; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule); lubricant: magnesium stearate.This product is free from: Artificial colours, preservatives and flavours, sugar, salt, starch, yeast, corn, milk (derivatives), talc, animal derivatives, gluten, lactose, shellfish, eggs, fish, soy, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, lupine and molluscs.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Composition of Altisa L-Arginine 500 mg:
Take 1-2 vegetarian capsules per day, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take between meals or before going to bed.
