This timed-release vitamin C tablet contains the buffered form of vitamin C, also known as the "deacidified form." It's gentle on the stomach and can easily be broken in half if needed. Vitamin C is combined with citrus bioflavonoids, acerola, and rutin for enhanced absorption.Composition of Altisa C 1000mg + Bioflavonoids + Acerola & Rutin Buffered TR:
Each tablet contains:Vitamin C (calcium ascorbate) 1000 mg
Citrus bioflavonoids 350 mg
Acerola (Malpighia punicifolia) 50 mg
Rutine (Sophora japonica) 50 mg
Ingredients of Altisa C 1000mg + Bioflavonoids + Acerola & Rutin Buffered TR:
Calcium ascorbate, citrus bioflavonoids, xanthan gum, stearic acid, rutin, malphigia punicifolia (acerola), silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.This product is free from: artificial colours, preservatives and flavours, sugar, salt, starch, yeast, corn, milk (products), talc, animal products, gluten, shellfish, eggs, fish, peanuts, soy, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, lupine and molluscs.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Composition of Altisa C 1000mg + Bioflavonoids + Acerola & Rutin Buffered TR:
Take 1 tablet per day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take during a meal with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Caution: Consult your doctor if you have an iron metabolism disorder or during pregnancy. A high vitamin C intake (>1000mg/day) may cause mild gastrointestinal discomfort in some people. In those with a predisposition to kidney stone formation, a high vitamin C intake may also lead to increased oxalic acid secretion: in these cases, caution is advised, and kidney patients are advised not to take more than 200mg of vitamin C per day due to, among other things, the risk of hyperoxalemia.
