Application of Leidapharm Maagzuurremmende Capsules Omeprazol 20mg:
This medicine contains the active substance omeprazole. It belongs to a group of medicines called ‘proton pump inhibitors’. These medicines work by reducing the amount of acid that your stomach makes.This medicine is used in adults for the short-term treatment of symptoms of reflux, such as heartburn and acid regurgitation.
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the oesophagus, which can become painful and inflamed. This can lead to symptoms such as a painful burning sensation in your chest, up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in your mouth (acid regurgitation).
You may need to take the capsules for 2 or 3 consecutive days to improve your symptoms.
If your symptoms do not improve after 14 days, or if they even get worse, contact your doctor.
Composition of Leidapharm Maagzuurremmende Capsules Omeprazol 20mg:
Each capsule contains:20 mg omeprazole
Ingredients of Leidapharm Maagzuurremmende Capsules Omeprazol 20mg:
Sugar spheres (consisting of maize starch and sucrose), sodium lauryl sulphate, anhydrous disodium phosphate, mannitol, hypromellose 6 cP, macrogol 6000, talc, polysorbate 80, titanium dioxide (E 171) and methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1). Capsule: gelatin and water, purified. The capsules also contain the colouring agents quinoline yellow (E 104) and titanium dioxide (E 171).Usage of Leidapharm Maagzuurremmende Capsules Omeprazol 20mg:
Do not take this medicine for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor. Contact your doctor if you notice that your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.You can take your capsules with a meal or on an empty stomach.
The recommended dosage is 1 capsule of 20 mg once a day for 14 consecutive days. Consult your doctor if you are not symptom-free after this period. Please read information leaflet before use
