Application of DeBa Pharma Melatonine Complex:
Melatonin is the hormone produced by the pineal gland when it gets dark. Melatonin is made from the amino acid tryptophan and the neurotransmitter serotonin. Disruptions in the circadian rhythm can disrupt melatonin production. Night shift work, jet lag, insufficient exposure to sunlight during the day, stress, and lack of exercise also inhibit melatonin production. Symptoms linked to a melatonin deficiency include difficulty falling asleep, waking up more easily during the night, and restless sleep. In addition to sleep problems, melatonin also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and protects cells from oxidative stress.This formula also contains lemon balm, passion flower, and valerian. These three substances also promote sleep and improve sleep quality.
In addition to the Melatonin Complex, DeBa Pharma also has the Melatonin Forte in its range (contains only melatonin).
Composition of DeBa Pharma Melatonine Complex:
Each vegetarian capsule contains:Melatonin 0.295 mg
Valerian extract (0.8% valeric acid) (root) (Valeriana officinalis) 250 mg
Lemon balm extract (2.5% rosmarinic acid) (Melissa officinalis) 75 mg
Wild passion flower extract (4% falvonoids) (aerial parts) (passiflora incarnata) 75 mg
Other ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable coating), Microcrystalline cellulose (stabiliser), Silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), Magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent).
This product is free from: Preservatives, artificial colours or flavours, yeast, sugar, lactose, gluten, corn, soy, salt, starch, milk, wheat.
Usage of DeBa Pharma Melatonine Complex:
Take 1 vegetarian capsule per day, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take half an hour before going to bed.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
