It also contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, and cartilage. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the proper functioning of gums, teeth, and skin.Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system. Vitamin C contributes to normal psychological function and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin C contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the regeneration of the active form of vitamin E. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron.
