Iron is known to be poorly absorbed by the body. Iron absorption depends on various factors.For example, the absorption of iron is enhanced or improved when taken simultaneously with vitamin C. In this formula, the iron is bound to glycine (iron bisglycinate). Glycine serves as a carrier to 'carry' the iron into the body.
In addition to iron bisglycinate, this formula contains iron gluconate. Iron gluconate is iron bound to glucose molecules, which also serve as carriers for the iron in this supplement.
Composition of PharmaNutrics Ferrumix Plus:
Each capsule contains:Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 120 mg
Dog rose / rosehip extract (Rosa canina) 50 mg
Stinging nettle extract (Urtica dioica) 50 mg
Iron (bisglycinate) 15 mg
Iron (glyconate) 10 mg

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) coated, hydroxypropylethylcellulose (vegetable capsule), microcrystalline cellulose (filler), Rosa canina extract (Rose rose), Urtica doica extract (Stinging nettle), tricalcium phosphate (filler), iron bisglycinate, talc (anti-caking agent), magnesium stearate (lubricant), iron gluconate.This product contains no allergens.
Usage of PharmaNutrics Ferrumix Plus:
