Application of Plantina MacuPlus 2:
MacuPlus 2 is based on the AREDS2 formula, but with modified mineral content. MacuPlus 2 contains less zinc and copper, but because it uses zinc and copper gluconate instead of zinc and copper oxides, less of these substances is needed to be just as effective.This is because oxides are poorly absorbed into the body.
Gluconates, on the other hand, are easily absorbed.
Vitamin A, vitamin B2 and zinc are known to be good for maintaining good vision.
In addition to these and other ingredients of the AREDS2 formula, MacuPlus 2 also contains Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Bilberry extract.
