Cordyceps sinensis is a mushroom found in the Tibetan Plateau and adjacent areas of Bhutan, India, and Nepal, at altitudes of 3,000 to 5,000 meters. The mushroom grows parasitically in caterpillars of the genus Thitarodes, forming narrow, brown fruiting bodies approximately 8–15 cm long. Cordyceps is highly valued in Asian countries.Mycopower BIO Cordyceps is a vegetarian and gluten-free dietary supplement.
The extract is produced from Cordyceps powder via a natural extraction method, in which the polysaccharide content is standardized. Cordyceps contains, among other things, polysaccharides, beta-glucans, and other natural components. The polysaccharide content of the extract is 30%.
