NOW Foods Biotics 25 billion contains a combination of as many as ten registered strains, with Streptococcus salivarius subsp. thermophilus St-21 in addition to Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium strains.This strain, also counted among the lactic acid-producing bacteria, is mainly found in the nasopharynx and throat.
The selected strains survive gastric passage very well and have excellent survival in the gastrointestinal tract.
