The omega-3 fatty acids in Arctic-D Cod Liver Oil + Vitamin D Lemon—particularly eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)—are essential nutrients that the body cannot produce in sufficient quantities. EPA and DHA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood triglyceride levels and support normal heart function, as well as the normal function of the brain and eyes.
