Application of New Care Algenolie EPA 75 & DHA 150:
Oily fish is rich in the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Fish obtain these fatty acids by eating algae that contain them. Algae are therefore essentially the source of Omega-3 for oily fish. Algal oil itself can also serve as a source of Omega-3 fatty acids.New Care Algae Oil is derived from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. The capsule is plant-based, making New Care Algae Oil a 100% plant-based alternative to omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil. Because alga oil is plant-based, unlike fish oil, it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. New Care Algae Oil is allergen-free and is also suitable for people who cannot use omega-3 from fish oil due to a fish allergy.
A daily intake of at least 250mg of EPA and DHA is good for the heart. New Care Algae Oil provides 450mg of omega-3 fatty acids per daily dose of 2 capsules, including 300mg of DHA and 150mg of EPA. This is sufficient to achieve the beneficial health effects.

Each capsule contains:Algenolie (Schizochytrium sp.) 500 mg
Of which omega-3 fatty acids:
- Eicosapentaeenzuur (EPA) 75 mg
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 150 mg
Algal oil contains no sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose, colourings, flavourings or preservatives.

Algal oil* (Schizochytrium sp. oil, sunflower oil, rosemary extract, tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate), vegetarian capsule: hypromellose.This product contains no sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose, colourings, flavourings or preservatives.
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Usage of New Care Algenolie EPA 75 & DHA 150:
Take 1 capsule twice a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably taken with water. Capsules may be opened. Maintenance dose: 1 capsule per day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
New Care Algae Oil is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Maternal supplemental DHA intake contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain in the foetus and breastfed infants.
These beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250 mg DHA and EPA.
