Squalene (omega-2) is a polyunsaturated hydrocarbon (a triterpene) with the chemical formula: C30H50. It is found in large quantities in shark liver oil (the name squalene refers to Squalidae, a shark family). It also occurs in small amounts (0.1 to 0.7%) in some vegetable oils, such as olive oil, and yeast.Composition of DeBa Pharma Squaleen 500 mg:
Each softgel contains:Squalene (purity 99.9%) 500 mg
- standardized to 100 mg alkylglycerols
Other ingredients: Fish gelatin (capsule), glycerin, (gelling agent), water.
