The emulsification process modifies vitamin D3 to produce particles similar to those in breast milk. This unique micro-emulsion is administered orally and enters the bloodstream directly and completely via the lymphatic system (corpuscular lymphatic) without passing through the liver.Absorption therefore occurs in the same way as in an infant, namely independently of bile secretion.
