Carotenoids are the pigments that give fruits and vegetables their color. The most important carotenoids are natural beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene, and zeaxanthin.Natural beta-carotene and cryptoxanthin are also provitamin A carotenoids. This means the body can produce vitamin A from these substances as needed. Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids that are present in large quantities in the retina.
Composition of DeBa Pharma Bio Carotenoiden Complex:
Each vegetable capsule contains:Beta-carotene 7.2 mg
Lutein (from Calendula officinalis) 5 mg
Lycopene (from tomato) 5 mg
Cryptoaxanthine 80 mcg
Zeaxanthine 41 mcg
Other ingredients: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable capsule), microcrystalline cellulose (stabiliser), magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent).
This product contains soy.
Usage of DeBa Pharma Bio Carotenoiden Complex:
Take 1 capsule per day unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take with a meal and plenty of water.
