Application of Nataos Krill Oil Superior:
Krill, Euphasia superba, is a floating mass of transparent, shrimp-like crustaceans.These animals belong to the so-called zooplankton and feed on omega-3 rich plankton and ice algae.
In fish oil, the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are incorporated into triglycerides, while in krill oil EPA and DHA occur in the phospholipid form.
Unlike omega-3 from fish oil, the phospholipid form from Krill oil is the same form that the cell membrane itself is made of, meaning they are directly recognised and absorbed by the body and can be incorporated as building blocks of our cells.
Omega-3 phospholipids support the elasticity of body cells and help the cells to absorb nutrients.
Astaxanthin, the substance that gives krill its deep red color, is a powerful free radical scavenger and protects our body and the oil from oxidation.
Krill Oil Superior is MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certified and harvested in an environmentally responsible manner without bycatch. This technique (Eco-Harvesting) allows the krill to be processed immediately while still fresh, preventing oxidation and preserving enzymes.
