Vitamins and minerals for children, pregnancy and breastfeedingGolden Naturals Multi Strong Gold Mama is specifically formulated for women in the pre-, post-, and post-pregnancy phases (when breastfeeding). These are special and important periods in which the health of the (expectant) mother and baby deserve optimal attention. This multivitamin supplements any increased needs with specific care for the (unborn) baby. It contains a generous daily dose of iron to maintain healthy blood iron levels. Folic acid, vitamins B2, B6, B12, and vitamin C help with fatigue. To support the immune system, Multi Strong Gold Mama contains a biologically active form of folic acid (folate). The Health Council recommends taking folic acid (folate) during pregnancy and when trying to conceive.
Bioactive substances for optimal absorption
All Golden Naturals multivitamins are highly absorbable thanks to their bioactive ingredients. "Bioactive" means the body doesn't need to convert the substance first: the active ingredient can start working immediately, thus achieving optimal effectiveness. Ease of use has also been considered, so you only need to take your multivitamin at one time of day. Furthermore, the multivitamins contain vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P5P).
