Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a naturally occurring substance. Our cells can produce this substance in response to certain stimuli. Food also contains small amounts of PEA, particularly eggs, peanuts, soy, (organ) meat, and fish. In the 1990s, Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini discovered the remarkable effects of PEA. Since then, extensive research has been conducted on PEA, leading to a growing understanding of its benefits. If you need more PEA, a supplement can be helpful. Because PEA is a naturally occurring substance (a fatty acid amide), the body absorbs it excellently through the intestines. It is then easily transported to tissues and cells. Usage of Golden Naturals PEA 400 mg:
Take 1 capsule 3 times a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take with water during a meal. Capsules may be opened if they are too large to swallow.
If this is more convenient, the daily dose can also be taken all at once (preferably 3 capsules in the morning). Suitable for children aged 10 and older.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
