Golden Naturals 5-HTP 250 mg contains the amino acid L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), extracted from the seeds of the native West African plant Griffonia simplicifolia. In the Netherlands, we know this plant as California poppy. Griffonia simplicifolia has a positive effect on both body and mind. It is therefore considered a precursor to serotonin ("happiness hormone") and melatonin because it influences the formation of these important neurotransmitters. Golden Naturals 5-HTP 250 mg also contains the "uplifting" vitamin B1: good for mood and contributing to mental resilience. Vitamin B1, like Griffonia simplicifolia, is also beneficial for the nervous system. BioPerine® has been added for optimal absorption.*Health claim evaluation is ongoing.

Usage of Golden Naturals 5-HTP 250 mg:
Take 1 capsule once a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably taken during a meal with sufficient water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
