Application of Golden Naturals Borage Olie:
The borage plant (Borago officinalis), also known as borage or cucumber herb, is a well-known herb with blue flowers. It originated in the Mediterranean and subsequently spread throughout Europe and North America. Borage oil is the richest natural source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). GLA helps with discomfort before and during menstruation.Unfortunately, this polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid is rarely found in food. Fortunately, the body can produce GLA itself from (cis)linoleic acid. However, sometimes it can be helpful to supplement it. Factors that can lead to an above-average need include (too) high consumption of trans fatty acids, saturated fats, sugar, alcohol, and carbohydrates.
Golden Naturals Borage Oil contains 1000 mg of pure borage oil per softgel, including 20% of the essential omega-6 fatty acid GLA (gamma-linolenic acid). Common sources of GLA are borage oil and evening primrose oil. Of these two sources, borage oil contains the highest percentage of GLA (20%).
One borage oil capsule provides 200 mg of GLA. To protect the fatty acids from oxidation, 10 mg of vitamin E is added to each capsule. Biotin is beneficial for the skin, and vitamin B6 supports hormone balance.

This product is free from: Egg, gluten-containing grains, lupine, milk, mustard, nuts, peanuts, crustaceans and molluscs, celery, sesame seeds, soy, sulphites, fish.
Usage of Golden Naturals Borage Olie:
Take 1 capsule per day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take with a meal and plenty of water.
