Agaricus Blazei Murill (ABM) belongs to the mushroom family (Agaricus). This mushroom is also known as the almond mushroom and is called, among other names, “sun mushroom”, “mushroom of life” in various parts of the world, and “himematsutake” in Asia. The mushroom originates from the Brazilian rainforest, where it has long been used as an edible mushroom and appreciated for its slightly nutty flavor.Although the mushroom was not scientifically described until the 1950s, it has also been cultivated commercially since the 1990s. Nowadays, cultivation takes place not only in South America but also in parts of Asia.
Mycopower BIO Agaricus Blazei Murill is a vegetarian and gluten-free food supplement.
The extract is produced from the mushroom powder via a natural extraction method, in which the concentration of certain natural components is standardized. The product contains, among other things, polysaccharides, the content of which is standardized at 30%.
