Magnesium in the form of Magnesium bisglycinate – where each Magnesium particle is bound (chelated) to two molecules of the amino acid glycine – has excellent absorption.Amino acid chelated magnesium has a higher bioavailability than other forms of magnesium, such as magnesium oxide. This is because the bond between magnesium and the amino acid is so strong in a chelate that it doesn't break down under the influence of stomach acid, unlike other magnesium compounds.
