Application of Tempocol Pepermuntolie Capsules:
Tempocol is a medicine containing peppermint oil (Menthae piperitae aetheroleum) and can beused to relieve mild spasms (mild cramps) in the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence and abdominal pain
relieve. These are symptoms that fit irritable bowel syndrome. The unique enteric-coated
soft capsule is easy to take and is only released in the intestines and not in the stomach and thus works
exactly where it is needed.
It is important that the peppermint oil in Tempocol is only released where it needs to do its work: in
the intestines. That is why Tempocol has a unique gastro-resistant coating. This allows the capsule
pass through the stomach unscathed.
Composition of Tempocol Pepermuntolie Capsules:
Each enteric-coated capsule contains:Peppermint essential oil (peppermint oil) 182 mg
Ingredients of Tempocol Pepermuntolie Capsules:
Mentha piperita aetheroleum, gelatin, glycerol, ethylcellulose, sodium alginate (E401), medium chain triglyceride, stearic acid, oleic acid.Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to peppermint oil or menthol or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine.
Usage of Tempocol Pepermuntolie Capsules:
You start with 1 capsule 1-3 times a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take 20-30 minutes before a meal with plenty of water. The dosage can be adjusted if necessary.
increased to a maximum dose of 2 capsules three times daily.
Children aged 8-12 years: 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Let op:
The capsules should be swallowed whole. Do not break or chew them, as this will prematurely release the peppermint oil. This may cause local irritation of the mouth and esophagus. Please read information leaflet before use
