Why an Emulsan?Emulsan (EM) represents the unique micro-emulsion form in which the vitamins are delivered. When Emulsan products are administered orally, they enter the bloodstream directly and completely via the lymphatic system (corpuscular lymphatic) without passing through the liver. In the mouth, this occurs primarily through the lymphatic vessels in the lingual-buccal epithelial tissue, and in the intestines, through the intestinal lumen via the thoracic duct. Even if fat absorption is impaired, optimal absorption of the active ingredients occurs this way. After oral administration of Emulsan, the vitamin is absorbed into the bloodstream within minutes. After approximately two hours, vitamin saturation is observed in the plasma, which lasts even longer than with an injection. Only after the vitamins have completed their work in the organs and tissues is any surplus absorbed or excreted by the liver. With Emulsan, the risk of overdose is therefore virtually zero.
