Application of Sterillium Handdesinfectiemiddel:
Disinfectant preparation for rubbing hands and skin.Solution for cutaneous use:
Hygienic and preoperative hand disinfection. Skin disinfection for injections and punctures.
Contraindications: Sterillum is not suitable for disinfecting mucous membranes and should not be used near the eyes or open wounds. Hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active ingredients or any of the excipients is not recommended.
Composition of Sterillium Handdesinfectiemiddel:
Contains per 100 grams of solution:Propaan-2-ol 45,0 gram, Propaan-1-ol 30,0 gram.
Mecetronium ethyl sulphate 0.2 gram.
Other ingredients: Glycerol 85%, tetradecan-1-ol, fragrance, color (E131), purified water.
Usage of Sterillium Handdesinfectiemiddel:
For hygienic hand disinfection: at least 3 ml of Sterillium must be applied to thethe dry hands are rubbed without rinsing them.
For surgical hand disinfection: Sterillium should be applied to dry hands and forearms.
Apply until completely covered. Rub in as many portions as needed to keep them wet for at least 1.5 minutes, without rinsing.
Skin disinfection: Sterillium should be rubbed into dry skin for 15 seconds before injections and punctures. For punctures in joints, body cavities, and hollow organs, and before surgical procedures, keep it moist for 1 minute. Skin with many sebaceous glands should be kept moist for 10 minutes.
Sterillum can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Sterillum should not be used in neonates and premature infants. Avoid contact with eyes. If the solution gets into the eyes, rinse them under running water for several minutes with the eyelids open. Please read information leaflet before use
