Lysine is one of the eight essential amino acids. The human body cannot produce this amino acid itself, so it must be ingested through food. The recommended intake for adults is 30 mg per kilogram of body weight.Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and protein-like substances in our bodies and have many essential functions.

You take one level measuring spoon (approx. 1 gram) 2 to 3 times a day, unless otherwise advised by your health professional.Preferably take half an hour before a meal. Dissolve in a liquid such as water or (fruit) juice.
Do not take with dairy products.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Warning:
Do not combine with aminoglycoside antibiotics (amikacin, gentamicin, neomycin, tobramycin). The combination may increase the risk of kidney damage from these antibiotics.
Do not take this medicine simultaneously with medications containing levodopa (preferably with an interval of one hour). Amino acids can reduce the absorption of levodopa.
Use with caution in kidney disorders.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
A varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.
