Calcium plays a role in bone formation and contributes to the maintenance of strong bones. It's a good supplement when calcium needs are increased. This formula contains a good dose of calcium, as oyster calcium.Magnesium, like calcium, plays a role in bone formation and is important for maintaining strong bones.
Vitamin C plays a role in the production and construction of cartilage. It's important for the formation of collagen, which is essential for bone health.
Vitamin D increases the absorption of calcium into bones. The Health Council recommends that women aged 50 and over, men aged 70 and over, and people with dark skin take extra vitamin D to strengthen their bones.

Every 3 tablets (= daily dose) contain:Calcium (oyster lime) 600 mg
Magnesium (citrate) 300 mg

Ingredients of New Care Calcium Plus:
Magnesium citrate, oyster lime (from molluscs), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, colour: calcium carbonate, glazing agent: hydroxypropyl cellulose, nettle root extract, anti-caking agent: stearic acid, rice starch, ascorbic acid, betaine HCl, bamboo extract, humectant: polyethylene glycol, rosemary extract, ginger*, menaquinone, cholecalciferol.This product is free from: sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose, flavourings and preservatives.
This product is suitable for vegetarians (not for vegans).
Usage of New Care Calcium Plus:
As a starting dose, take 1 tablet 3 times a day.As a maintenance dose, take 1 tablet once a day.
Preferably take at least one dose before bed and/or after exercise. Take the tablets with water.
The tablets may be crushed and taken in water or yoghurt, for example.
Do not exceed the recommended dose unless otherwise advised by your health professional.
Every person is different. Additional vitamin and mineral needs can also vary from person to person. Generally, it's recommended to use the starting dose for one package. Then, you can reduce your dose to the maintenance dose. Personal factors may dictate whether you use the starting dose for a longer or shorter period.
