BioVitaal Neptune Krill Oil 500 mg contains krill oil of the high-quality Neptune (Eko) standard. Neptune Krill Oil is extracted from Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba), a zooplankton. Because this krill is at the bottom of the food chain, has a short lifespan of 1-2 years, and lives in the clean waters of the Antarctic Ocean, Neptune Krill Oil is naturally low in heavy metals, dioxins, and pesticides; Neptune Krill Oil is tested for the presence of these substances and for kainic acid analogues, such as domoic acid.BioVitaal Neptune Krill Oil contains Omega 3 fatty acids, phospholipids (lecithin-like substances), choline, and the carotenoid astaxanthin (this carotenoid also causes the deep red color of the capsules). Krill Oil also contains traces of selenium and Vitamins A, D, and E.
Krill oil contains over 15% omega-3, 9% omega-9, and 2% omega-6 fatty acids. Furthermore, krill oil contains 15 times more omega-3 than omega-6 fatty acids (15:1 ratio). The unsaturated fatty acids in krill oil are bound to phospholipids, which contributes to their bioavailability.

Usage of VeraSupplements Neptune Krill-Olie 500 mg:
You take 1-2 capsules, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take during a meal with sufficient water.
