BioVitaal Folic Acid+ Complex is a synergistic combination of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), also known as the active coenzyme form of this vitamin B11/folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin C, and betaine (trimethylglycine).Folic acid contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine and plays a role in maternal cell division and tissue growth during pregnancy. Folic acid is also involved in normal blood formation, the synthesis of various amino acids, and the normal functioning of the immune system.
Composition of VeraSupplements Foliumzuur+ Complex:
Each tablet (= daily dosage) contains:5-Methyl-Tetrahydrofolate (active folic acid) 800 mcg
Vitamine B12 (hydroxycobalamine) 100 mcg
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) 1.5 mg
Vitamine B2 (riboflavine-5-fosfaat) 5 mg
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 80 mg
Trimethylglycine (betaïne-base) 30 mg
Other ingredients: Bulking agents: rice starch, maltodextrins (gluten-free, corn), microcrystalline cellulose. Anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, vegetable stearic acid and vegetable magnesium stearate.
