Application of Prospan Hoestsiroop Hedera Helix:
Traditional herbal medicine used for persistent cough and tickling cough. Its use is based solely on traditional use and not on clinical evidence.Triple action of Prospan Cough Syrup Hedera Helix for cough:
✓The cough syrup makes the mucus in the airways less viscous, making it easier to cough up.
✓The cough syrup causes the airways to widen, allowing more air to enter the lungs.
✓The cough syrup ensures that the often painful cough is reduced so that one can sleep more peacefully at night.
✓The cough syrup does not block the cough because it has the important function of clearing the mucus into the pharynx.
Composition of Prospan Hoestsiroop Hedera Helix:
100 ml cough syrup contains:Hedera Helix (Ivy) dry extract (5-7.5:1) 0.7 grams
Other ingredients: extraction liquid: ethanol 30% g/g, potassium sorbate (preservative) 0.134 grams.
(2.5 ml of syrup contains 0.963 grams of sorbitol).
Usage of Prospan Hoestsiroop Hedera Helix:
- Children aged 4 to 5 years: 2.5 ml cough syrup twice daily.- Children aged 6 to 12 years; 5 ml cough syrup twice daily.
- Children from 12 years and adults: 5 ml cough syrup 3 times a day.
It is recommended to take Prospan cough syrup in the morning, (afternoon) and evening.
Shake the bottle well before use!
Use the enclosed measuring cup.
Warning:
- Do not use Prospan cough syrup if you are hypersensitive to Hedera Helix dry extract or any of the excipients.
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age due to the risk of worsening respiratory problems.
- If the symptoms persist for longer than a week or worsen during the use of this traditional herbal medicine, a doctor should be consulted. Please read information leaflet before use
