Application of Bonusan Curcuma Longa Extract:
Curcuma longa (Turmeric) supports a wide range of body functions. It is most often used for the immune system, nervous system, lungs, heart and blood vessels and to regulate cholesterol levels.When researching Curcuma longa, curcumin was the substance of interest. Now it appears that Turmeric in the body is converted into many more interesting substances, including demethoxycurcumin (DMC), bisdemethoxycurcumin (BMC) and tetrahydrocurcumin (THC). These metabolites have both a supporting function and their own scope.
However, not every curcuma extract results in high curcumin levels. We therefore produce Curcuma longa extract with CurcuWIN. This raw material has a very high water solubility and a sustainable bioavailability. As a result, this product is optimally absorbed and remains active in the body for a long time. We have also opted for CurcuWIN because it has the same curcuminoid profile as occurs naturally in the curcuma rootstock: curcumin (approximately 75%), demethoxycurcumin (approximately 15%) and bismethoxycurcumin (approximately 5%).
