Sanopharm Fish Oil Capsules contain purified omega-3 fatty acids from thresher and salmon. A study in Denmark and Sweden demonstrated the beneficial effect of a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Because they have almost the same structure as omega-3 fatty acids (e.g., eicosapentaenoic acid = EPA), omega-6 fatty acids (e.g., arachidonic acid) compete with each other in the body. The body produces certain substances from omega-6 fatty acids that promote inflammation. Omega-3 fatty acids produce anti-inflammatory substances. Both fatty acids are essential and indispensable for the body.When omega-6 fatty acids predominate in the diet (for example, through the consumption of fatty meats or various vegetable oils), this leads to a deficiency in the body's normal "opponents" omega-3 fatty acids. Consequently, in individuals with chronic joint inflammation, more pro-inflammatory substances are formed during normal metabolism. For this reason, it is important to ensure a balanced ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. A diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids is therefore paramount. This includes oils and fats from sea fish in particular.
