Application of Thea Pharma Blephagel Ooglid Reiniging Gel:
Indications:Blephagel is a hypoallergenic sterile gel for the daily hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes.
Eyelid cleaning is recommended by ophthalmologists as an adjunct to the treatment of:
✓Blepharitis (anterior and posterior) (inflammation of the eyelids)
✓Dry eyes associated with Meibomian gland dysfunction (glands in the eyelids that don't work properly)
✓Damage to the eye and eyelid due to acne rosacea (a skin disease on the face that causes redness)
✓Damage to the eye and eyelid as a result of seborrheic dermatitis (skin disease with redness and flaking, mainly on the face)
Eyelid hygiene may also be recommended before surgery, requiring gentle and thorough cleaning of the eyelids and roots of the eyelashes.
Blephagel can be recommended for contact lens wearers.
Properties:
Blephagel is a sterile gel designed for gentle, mechanical cleansing of irritated or damaged eyelids, or for sensitive skin or skin prone to allergic reactions.
Blephagel original formula:
- Helps the product adhere to the eyelids
- Contains poloxamer which emulsifies, solubilizes and gently removes mucus and debris from the eyelids and roots of the eyelashes
- Respects the natural hydration of the eyelid
- Refreshes and softens the eyelids
- Leaves no residue and is not greasy or sticky
Ingredients of Thea Pharma Blephagel Ooglid Reiniging Gel:
Water, poloxameer 188, PEG-90, carbomeer, sodiumhydroxide.Preservative, paraben, alcohol and fragrance free.
Use of Thea Pharma Blephagel Ooglid Reiniging Gel:
Use Blephagel twice a day, morning and evening, or as needed to clean the eyelids.Instructions for use:
When using for the first time, gently press the front of the tube (on the Thea logo) for 3 seconds to move the gel into the pump.
Then point the tube downwards and prime the pump by pressing the pump head 3 times.
1. Apply a small amount of Blephagel to the cotton pad by depressing the pump (do not press the tube). Remove any remaining gel from the pump nozzle with the cotton pad.
2. Close one eye and apply the gel to the closed eyelid and the eyelashes with the help of a mirror.
3. Rub gently over the eyelids and eyelashes using circular motions, repeatedly until all residue is removed.
4. Remove any excess Blephagel from the eyelid with a clean cotton pad.
5. Repeat these 4 steps for the other eye.
