Breast milk is complete nutrition, tailored to your little one. Nevertheless, the Health Council advises giving exclusively breastfed infants extra Vitamin K in addition to extra Vitamin D. These vitamins are present in low amounts in breast milk, and your baby can only produce Vitamin K themselves starting from the third month. Therefore, it is recommended to give exclusively breastfed babies an extra 150 micrograms of Vitamin K and 10 mcg of Vitamin D starting from the 8th day.K&D Drops from Orthica contain exactly the daily dose of Vitamin D and K recommended by the Health Council. Both vitamins are fat-soluble; in this case, cottonseed oil is used. K&D drops contain Vitamin D3 because this form of Vitamin D is absorbed more efficiently than Vitamin D2.
