After cleaning the wound with water and, for example, Betadine Solution, dab the wound and the wound edge with a sterile gauze pad. Betadine Disinfectant Ointment Gauze can now be applied directly to the wound. The oil-free ointment base and the PVP-I molecules form a "breathable", porous scab on the wound. The gradual release of the available iodine provides a rapid, long-lasting disinfecting effect. Betadine ointment gauze can be covered with a bandage without any issues. Betadine disinfectant ointment gauze does not stick to the wound. In principle, change the gauze daily or every other day until the wound is closed.This product is a medical device; read the package leaflet before use.
