Application of Zovirax Koortslip Crème Pomp:
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream can be used for the treatment of a cold sore caused by the herpes virus.Ingredients of Zovirax Koortslip Crème Pomp:
Active substance: Aciclovir 50 mg/gExcipients: propylene glycol, vaseline, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, poloxamer 407,
sodium lauryl sulfate, glycerol monostearate, macrogol stearate 100, dimethicone 20 and
purified water.
Usage of Zovirax Koortslip Crème Pomp:
Adults and children:Apply Zovirax Cold Sore Cream 5 times a day, at intervals of 4 hours, as soon as symptoms appear. You do not need to apply cream at night. The treatment should be continued for 4 days. If healing is not complete after ten days, calculated from the start of treatment, you are advised to consult a doctor. If you repeatedly suffer from a severe cold sore, it is recommended to consult your doctor.
Method of use:
Apply Zovirax Cold Sore by squeezing a small amount of cream from the tube or pump onto your fingertip and then applying it to the affected areas. The affected areas are those parts, including the lips, where the infection is active, i.e., where blisters are forming or have already appeared.
To prevent transmission of the virus to other parts of the body (e.g. the eyes) or to other people (e.g. through kissing), it is important to avoid touching the blisters as much as possible and to wash your hands before and after touching the blisters. Please read information leaflet before use
