Fountain of Eternal YouthThe fountain of eternal youth has been the great desire of many generations to discover. Eternal youth does not exist, but people can be healthy and vital later in life. It has been known for years that excess nutrients burned in cells and by oxygen, formed as free radicals in our bodies. These free radicals, also called oxidants (rusting), damage DNA and proteins, triggering the aging process.
In young people, several genes protect against this aging process. This largely prevents the formation of (excessive) free radicals.
