The active form of B6 no longer has to be converted by the body, meaning it is absorbed more readily and has a faster effect. Under normal circumstances, the body is sufficiently capable of converting vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxine. There are, however, various groups of people in whom this conversion is no longer optimal. This applies, for example, to elderly people, people who drink a lot of alcohol, smokers, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and people who, because of the medication they use or because of stress, use more vitamin B6.
Vitamin B6 is involved in more than 130 enzyme functions. As well as the nervous system and the psychological function it is important for the formation of red blood corpuscles, normal immune system function, normal energy metabolism, normal protein metabolism and production and normal homocysteine metabolism.

Take 1 tablet a day during or immediately after a meal with a glass of water. Preferably spread your intake throughout the day.Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
