Application of Pharma Nord Bio Bloeddruk + Kalium:
Bio-Bloeddruk is a dietary supplement consisting of capsules and tablets. The dark brown gelatin capsules each contain a unique combination of coenzyme Q10, pycnogenol, and vitamin D. The oval, white tablets contain a potassium salt.Bio-Blood Pressure helps maintain normal blood pressure, as well as normal muscle and nerve function.
What is potassium?
Potassium is an essential mineral that is found predominantly (98%) in the body's cells. Potassium is an electrolyte, that is, an electrically charged atom that, together with the mineral sodium, contributes to maintaining a normal fluid and salt balance in the body. If we eat too much salt, we ingest too much sodium, which retains water in the body. The more potassium we consume, the more sodium is excreted through the urine. We obtain potassium from our food through vegetables and fruit, fish, whole grain products, and yogurt.
What is Vitamin D?
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in a number of important bodily functions, such as cell division, a normally functioning immune system, muscle function, absorption and utilization of calcium, and so on.

What is Coenzyme Q10?
Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance concentrated in the mitochondria, the 'powerhouses' of the cells. Q10 actively contributes to the conversion of nutrients into ATP (adenosine triphosphate), a molecule that stores energy in chemical form.
Muscle cells, in particular, require a lot of energy and therefore contain significantly more mitochondria than other types of cells. The heart muscle is a good example of a body tissue with cells that contain many mitochondria, due to the high energy demand.

What is Pycnogenol?
Pycnogenol is a patented extract made from the bark of the French maritime pine (Pinus pinaster). The bark contains many different types of bioflavonoids, such as catechin, epicatechin, flavones, and taxifolin.
Pycnogenol also contains a number of fruit acids such as caffeic acid, ferulic acid, gallic acid, coumaric acid, and vanilla acid. The extract contains a standardized amount of 70% +/- 5% of some of the active plant compounds. Pycnogenol has been on the market for over 40 years. The substance has been subjected to numerous scientific studies.
Pycnogenol has antioxidant properties and has been classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by independent toxicological experts.

Capsule ingredients:Palm oil, capsule shell: bovine gelatin, humectants: glycerol, purified water, Coenzyme Q10 (ubidecarenone), colorant: ammonia caramel, Pinus pinaster A (Pycnogenol®), vitamin D (cholecalciferol).
Tablet ingredients:
Potassium (Potassium chloride), bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, tricalcium phosphate, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids, glazing agents: calcium carbonate, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Usage of Pharma Nord Bio Bloeddruk + Kalium:
You take 2 capsules and 1 tablet per day unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.Preferably take whole during or after a meal.
