The soft, light-proof gelatin capsules from BioActive Uniqinol contain Ubiquinol, the reduced form of Co-Enzyme Q10, dissolved in coconut oil. Each capsule contains 50 mg of Ubiquinol and 12 mg of Ascorbic Acid.Dietary supplements containing ubiquinol have the disadvantage that this substance oxidizes as soon as it is exposed to oxygen and then reverts to the original form of ubiquinone. However, thanks to a special production process, Pharma Nord has succeeded in packaging the raw material in a capsule in such a way that the Q10 retains its active form.
