Dettol produces a milky solution when diluted with water. The diluted solution is used for the antiseptic cleaning of cuts, bites, abrasions, and insect bites and stings.Dettol is a concentrated solution and must be diluted before use.

- The active ingredient in this medicine is Chlorxylenol 48 mg/g- The other substances (excipients) in this medicine are: pine oil; isopropyl alcohol; castor oil; sodium salt; caramel and water.
Usage of Dettol Dettol Med Chloorxylenol 48 mg/g:
Wounds, bites, scratches, and insect bites: Dilute 50 ml of Dettol with water to 1 liter (1:20) and wash the area with this diluted solution. Cover with dry gauze or a cotton-padded bandage.Do not use Dettol undiluted.
Do not use in children under 12 months. Please read information leaflet before use
