The botanical name of this tree is Eucalyptus globulus. It can reach an impressive height of up to 90 meters. Young specimens have oval leaves with a blue-green tint, while older trees develop narrow, yellow-green leaves.The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh or slightly dried leaves and young branches. The result is a clear, thin liquid that may take on a yellowish color over time. The oil contains a high content of 1,8-cineol.
The scent is fresh and resinous, with camphor-like notes and a sharp, woody undertone. Eucalyptus oil is known for its invigorating effect: it helps purify, provides new energy, and leaves a fresh feeling. Ideal for supporting the respiratory system or as a natural way to freshen up rooms.
