Coconut oil is a natural product made from the flesh of the coconut. The flesh is first dried, and then the oil is pressed out. Coconut oil consists of more than 40% of the medium-chain fatty acid lauric acid.This deodorized coconut oil has a neutral taste and is suitable for baking, roasting, and deep-frying. The coconut oil is deodorized using steam, resulting in fewer nutrients remaining than with extra virgin coconut oil. Coconut oil contains no trans fatty acids. Any sediment is normal.
