Nammm
Nammm was born out of a personal quest for an alternative to dairy products, with a strong interest in health. Founder Sofie, a mother, osteopath, and orthomolecular therapist, had been reducing the use of dairy products in her household for some time and was looking for healthier options. Unfortunately, when switching to plant-based drinks, she discovered that these drinks often consisted largely of water, sometimes up to 96%, with barely any nuts present. This inspired her to develop a healthier, more ecological, and higher-quality alternative. Nammm is an instant powder based on chufa. Chufa is the Spanish name for the earth almond, tiger nut, or nut grass (Cyperus esculentus). Although it resembles a small tuber, it is not a nut but a tuber crop that grows among the roots of a grass species. When dissolved in water, it has a nutty and slightly sweet flavor.
