Dr. Weston Price discovered the High-Vitamin Butter Oil, but this discovery came to a head when he started combining this product with the fermented Cod Liver Oil.
In addition to producing the High Vitamin Butter Oil, Dave and Barb ferment the livers of fish in the old, traditional way to extract the oil. Around 1850 was the start of the industrial revolution and also changed the production of cod liver oil by the food industry.
However, Dave and Barb Wetzel have turned back the clock and returned to traditional cod liver oil production. They are proud to be able to offer our generation their cod liver oil that was prepared with the same care and attention as our ancestors did.
