This rapid immunochromatographic test detects surface antigens of Giardia cysts and trophozoites.The rapid test uses a coupling technique based on blue latex particles. The latex particles ensure that the test line has a particularly intense color result if the result is positive (high sensitivity), allowing the reliably detection of even the smallest concentrations of Giardia cysts.
