Liposomal Vitamin C has a faster and better absorption in the body than regular Vitamin C. By applying advanced liposomal technology, the vitamin C is encapsulated in liposomes. Liposomes are tiny fatty spheres that protect the active ingredient - in this case Ascorbic acid.The outside of the liposomes consist of phospholipids, similar to our own cell membrane. These phospholipids from sunflower lecithin provide protection against stomach acid and liver enzymes, among other things. These liposomes filled with Vitamin C then reach the small intestine, where the liposomes can fuse with our own cell membrane.
