Normal vitamin C as ascorbic acid is the acidic form of vitamin C.This may irritate the gastrointestinal tract at higher doses.
Buffered Vitamin C from VitaKruid, on the other hand, combines calcium and magnesium with ascorbic acid, creating ascorbates (salts) instead of ascorbic acid.
The combination makes this form of vitamin C friendlier to the gastrointestinal tract and easier to absorb.
During the absorption process in the body, calcium and magnesium are released, which supports the beneficial effect of the vitamin.
This formula doesn't just contain buffered vitamin C. Key nutrients have been added to support the positive effects of vitamin C.
