The A.Vogel Eye Gel Extra Hydration contains Ectoin®, a 100% natural ingredient with cell-protective and anti-inflammatory properties.Ingredients of A.Vogel Ooggel Extra Hydratatie:
Ectoin®, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium chloride, water, citrate buffer.Usage of A.Vogel Ooggel Extra Hydratatie:
Apply 1-2 drops per eye several times a day, unless otherwise advised. If necessary, A.Vogel Eye Gel Extra Hydration can be used several times an hour. The gel is also suitable for children (children up to 10 years old with adult assistance) and contact lens wearers (you do not need to remove your contact lenses before applying the drops).1. Before first use, tear the protective seal from the bottle.
2. Wash your hands before using the product and remove the cap from the bottle.
3. Tilt your head slightly back.
4. Hold the bottle upside down in one hand, between your thumb and index or middle finger. Try to keep the bottle as vertical as possible.
5. Open your eye with the thumb and index finger of your other hand, or gently pull your lower eyelid down to form a small pouch.
6. Place the tip of the bottle close to your lower eyelid, but do not let it touch your eye.
7. Gently squeeze the bottle until a drop of gel falls into the pocket formed between the eye and the eyelid.
8. Close your eye slowly, allowing the gel to spread evenly over the surface of the eye.
9. If necessary, repeat the procedure for the other eye and replace the cap on the bottle after use.
Tips for very dry eyes
Dry eyes can't always be prevented. A few basic tips can sometimes help temporarily alleviate the symptoms.
-Use natural daylight as much as possible and don't work at a screen for too long. If you do, be sure to blink frequently and look away from the screen occasionally.
- Never wear contact lenses longer than recommended by the manufacturer.
- If necessary, wear sunglasses to avoid light irritation.
- Use air conditioning as little as possible; instead, choose an open window. Air conditioning can make the air very dry.
- Try not to watch TV for too long. The same rule applies here: if you do watch TV, try to blink often enough and look away from the screen occasionally.
