Application of Vitakruid Baby K:
Immediately after birth, all infants are given 1000 mcg of Vitamin K. This is because, during the first 3 months, babies do not yet have the right gut bacteria to produce Vitamin K themselves.The Vitamin K the baby receives from the midwife after birth meets the needs for the first week. From day 8 until the end of the third month, it is therefore recommended to give an additional 150 mcg of Vitamin K daily.
